Alton Towers Resort provides world-class fun, thrills and entertainment to millions of guests each year and is a key business within Merlin’s portfolio of location-based entertainment resorts.

Situated in the heart of Staffordshire, the Resort is the iconic home of the UK’s biggest theme park set across 10 immersive lands with world-renowned coasters and attractions. The appointment of our new Divisional Director comes after a successful 2022 season for the Resort which saw the introduction of several new attractions, including CBeebies Land acquiring three new character-led areas; alongside the Resort picking up a string of awards, including 'UK's best value theme park’, an Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Award from VisitEngland, as well as 'Theme Park of the Year' at the UK Theme Park Awards for the second year in a row. Last month the theme park resort also revealed it has a new attraction opening this Spring. The Curse at Alton Manor promises a haunting dark ride that takes brave guests on a hair-raising journey through the spectacular twists and turns of the cursed Manor.
