Skyride Will Remain Closed In 2024

Although work was taking place last year, the resort has confirmed that Skyride will not be opening in 2024. As the resort has worked through this project in collaboration with the ride supplier POMA, they have had to make some critical decisions about the attraction’s future longevity. This went beyond their commitment to just keeping the Skyride operational, it became around the desire to ensure it remains a beloved feature of the park for generations to come. With this, the attraction will remain closed in 2024 for further work to take place and hopefully this attraction will return in 2025.

The 2024 Resort Map Has Been Revealed

After much anticipation, the 2024 Resort Map has been released, which features an all new 3D design. This is the world’s first fully 3D rendered theme park map, which could allow for guests to view all aspects of the park ahead of their visit via the mobile app or website. The website and mobile app feature hasn’t been confirmed by the resort as of yet, however this seems very likely that this could be the case. In addition to this, the company that has designed this map has revealed that they have also created a paper version of the map, which looks very promising that we could be seeing the return of paper maps following them being removed after the COVID-19 pandemic.
