With over 40 rides and attractions, more than 1,00 animals and a SEA LIFE centre, two themed Hotels, a Glamping site and Go Ape, Chessington World of Adventures Resort invites families to leave the everyday behind and gasp, giggle, shriek and scream as they see and do things they’ve never seen or done before, whether that be feeling their heart pound as they journey on their first wild ride or starring wide-eyed encountering endangered animals. Experience The Rainforest, a land perfect for families with kids in search of their first wild adventure, explore the rainforests of the world by road, taking the wheel on Jungle Rangers; by river, making a splash on mini-log flume, River Rafts, and from the treetop canopy, bouncing up high on Treetop Hoppers, all while spotting creatures including real tortoises and capybaras, the world’s largest rodent.
Croc Drop!
Set to ‘drop’ in spring, those daring will plunge 25m into the giant jaws of a crocodile, Sobek, the ancient Egyptian Crocodile God and protector of the Nile, who has been possessed by evil spirits, transforming him into a cruel deity.
Jungle Rangers
Little explorers take the wheel on Jungle Rangers, a car ride where they navigate their vehicle along the trail, spotting creatures along the way.

- If you are a Merlin Passholder, remember the array of benefits available to you at. This includes: 20% off shopping, dining and 20% off short breaks.
- Merlin Premium/Gold/Platinum Passholders and Chessington Gold Passholders receive free parking. Just simply scan your pass at the exit barrier.
- Buy your tickets online and save up to 40% compared to the gate price. Print your tickets at home or bring them on your phone to enjoy faster entry into the Resort.
- Need a break from the ROARsome fun? Take a stroll through Wanyama Village & Reserve and look at the range of animals that Zoo has to offer.
- Eat early/late at the on-site restaurants. If you plan on eating at an on-site restaurants, we recommend that you eat before 12:30pm or after 2:00pm, as the queues will have gone at this point. This is also a good time to experience some rides as most guests head for lunch at this time, leaving the queues at shorter waits!
